TYPECON BOOKLET
This project consisted of making a booklet for a conference called Typecon and had multiple phases, starting with the creation of various design posters for the conference. Then choosing a poster, the next phase was making two sets of spread pages matching the original chosen poster design, with the final phase being creating a final booklet for the information of the conference and adding more spreads on top of the original, completed with a front and back cover. This was a final combination of everything previously learned in Typography and using those skills to create a professional cover.
PHASE 1
This project started off with coming up with three conceptually different poster designs for the conference. I wanted to keep my designs heavily relying on type while having any photos added as a support. I took these designs in very different ways, but I struggled conceptually at first in trying to create posters with very little image use. I believe this project was the start of my skill in appreciating type and learning how to use it for design rather than just for function.

PHASE 2
The next phase started with choosing the best of the three posters to continue into making a booklet with, starting with two interview spreads. This eased us into making a larger scale, complete booklet with more spreads to help us first understand how to use InDesign and its functions in interesting typography. I tried keeping a similar playfulness that my original poster had
